Erica wants to deepen our understanding of ourselves and our relationships, and empower folks to make clear-eyed choices for their lives. 

Erica is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and the Director of Marketing at Group Therapy Associates. 

She is also the co-founder of the advocacy and events platform, Therapy is Not a Dirty Word. 

Erica is an avid writer and contributor to outlets such as DC Ladies, Brilliant Earth, and Fox5DC.  Don't ask her about anxiety, vulnerability, or committed relationships unless you've got a lot of time on your hands!

Dr. Sislena Ledbetter 

Nikki Curry

Sislena Grocer Ledbetter, Ph.D. is a social psychologist, researcher, lecturer, author, and life coach. She received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina Central University, - Magna Cum Laude.  She earned with honors, her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in psychology from Howard University. 

Her post-graduate studies include educational leadership training at Georgetown University Graduate School of Professional Studies and Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She has received several fellowships and internships including Intern during the Clinton administration. 

Dr. Ledbetter has held higher education leadership roles including Director of Counseling and Student Development and Associate Vice President of Student Development.  She is currently teaching in the Psychology Program at the University of the District of Columbia.  

Dr. Ledbetter has written and attracted millions of dollars in behavioral health grants to build peer-led programs addressing HIV AIDS, substance abuse, suicide prevention, and domestic violence. Her research interests include exploring wellness, power, and politics for women of color in leadership roles in the workplace, exploring factors that enhance healthy intimate relationships in the Black community.

She is the host of the DC Cable Television program "A Healthy Mind," where she interviews guests on topics related to mental health.  

Nikki is indigenous to Maryland and author of Celibate Conversations.

She is also President and CEO of Nishati Earth which focuses on getting back to being one's self in mind, body and spirit through meditation, yoga and prayer. She specializes in Holistic and Alternative health, Battlefield acupuncture and Sound and Energy Therapy.

She aspires to become a Doctor in Nursing specializing in cardiac health while holding a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. 

In addition, Nikki serves as a military nurse and an advocate for sexual assault and domestic violence.

Seasoned with humor and compassion for life she is also an inspiring robust poet.
